Our Local Ministry Partners
We are proud to partner locally with Cornerstone Rescue Mission located at 30 Main Street in Rapid City, SD. The Cornerstone Rescue Mission is a vital piece of Rapid City’s social fabric serving vulnerable women, children, and men. They serve the physical and spiritual needs of more than 500 people every day and they have impacted the lives of thousands more over the years. First Wesleyan Church provides food and helps serve a meal in the Cornerstone’s Kitchen on the 5th Sunday of the month.

A great way that we partner with our community is to support our local Christian Broadcasting Station. KSLT-FM is an adult Contemporary Christian Music formatted radio station located in Rapid City, SD. They also host a free Christian music festival, Hills Alive, held the third weekend of July, each year, in Memorial Park near downtown Rapid City.
We also support the Black Hills Pregnancy Center located at 1774 Centre St., Suite 1, Rapid City, SD 57703. Because all life is sacred, Black Hills Pregnancy Center exists to explore choices by providing appropriate resources and support for all impacted by an unplanned pregnancy. We, at First Wesleyan, offer our support by participating in the Baby Bottle Campaign and fill baby bottles with change and donations from our church membership.

CHRIS & WENDY ENGLAND, KYLER, CADEN, ABIGAIL – CROATIA
Chris and Wendy have been ministering as long-term missionaries in Croatia since 2005. Their desire is to model Christ to the people of Croatia, share with them His transforming power, connect them with other Christian believers, equip them to grow in their walk with Christ, and challenge them to discover Christ’s call to ministry.
RANDALL & LINDA FREEMAN – PASTOR TO MISSIONARIES
After 23 years coordinating ministerial training in Papua New Guinea, Randall & Linda became Pastor to Missionaries with Global Partners in 2008. They shepherd the growth and progress of Global Partners missionaries through support and communication and field visits in Asia and Turkic/Arabic Muslim areas.
RICH & DEB STINEHART – Pastor to Missionaries – Eastern Europe and the Balkan Regions
In the mid-1990’s, while serving with Global Partners in Russia, Rich and Deb experienced the power of the encouraging, shepherding ministry of a pastor to Missionaries. Operating out of two alternating locations, Czech Republic (Czechia) and Croatia, they serve almost forty missionaries in that same role throughout eight countries in the Eastern Europe and Balkan Regions. They apply their training, career, life experiences, and physical presence to come alongside others, to support enhancing their ministry impact and thriving with their personal lives.
