12 For the word of God is living and active, sharper than any two-edged sword, piercing to the division of soul and of spirit, of joints and of marrow, and discerning the thoughts and intentions of the heart.
Sermon Discussion Questions
1. How often are you in God’s Word? What might serve as a distraction to being in God’s Word? Has anyone in the group ever read through the entire Bible?
2. How does God feel when His children are not in His Word? Should we be in God’s Word?
3. Have you had a day when what you read in your devotions specifically applied to what was needed in your life right then/there? If so, would you share that experience?
4. Name the articles/things that you read daily.
5. What have been some powerful passages of Scripture for you?
6. Do you have a hard time understanding the Bible? What are some ways members of each group have had to understand and digest the Bible?
7. What plan can each of us leave with in order to be consistent in this discipline of Bible Reading?
