Mark grew up in Rapid City, South Dakota until the 8th grade. After moving, he graduated from Gwinn High School in Gwinn, Michigan. During his first semester of his freshmen year of college at Western Dakota Tech, Mark accepted Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior of his life. After Mark’s first year of college, he decided to take two years off from school to seek God’s plan for his life. 

During this time, Mark attended First Wesleyan Church where he accepted his call into ministry and met his wonderful wife, Brooke. In 2016, Mark married his wife and moved to Bartlesville, Oklahoma to pursue a degree in Pastoral Ministry at Oklahoma Wesleyan University. During his junior year, Brooke and Mark were blessed with a baby girl named Eden. Since graduating college in 2019, Mark and his family are grateful to serve at First Wesleyan Church as their first ministry position. 

While Mark has been serving at First Wesleyan Church, his family has been blessed with the birth of their son Peter and their second daughter Kara. In June of 2021, Mark was ordained in the Wesleyan Church. Mark enjoys cooking BBQ, fishing, sports, and spending time with his family. 

At First Wesleyan Church, Mark oversees our Outreach and Youth ministries.
